New decorative figure, representing Snowman Raguseo, was presented today in the Dubrovnik Tourist Board office.

Snowman has been built by the idea of Damir Racic from Dubrovnik and will be at the Tourist Board office during the holidays. It has already brought a great joy to children from the kindergarden Pile, who were delighted to see the snowman and take photos with him. They also sang ''Jingle Bells'' to Romana Vlasic, the director of Dubrovnik Tourist Board, who has greeted them and showed them the figure.

This is a great intro to the new Facebook competition. Dubrovnik Tourist Board calls for the participation of parents or adult family members to publish a photo of a child and Snowman Raguseo with hashtag #snjeskoraguseo.

The competition will take place from today to 16th of December, and the announcement of the winners - the best photos which participated and the award ceremony will be on Friday, December 23rd at 11 am.

There are also Walls of Ston, Dubrovnik Cathedral Treasury, abandoned tunnels of Korcula, Daksa island and Orlando's column – most of them are pretty common for the locals, but can be overlooked by tourists.

Many other attractions are listed on the Croatia list, such us Blue cave of Bisevo, Sea Organ in Zadar, Podgaric Monument, Jablanac Shipwreck and others. To check the whole list follow this link.

This latest Dubrovnik Christmas decoration is located in Gruz and if it looks impressive during the day it is even more spectacular at night. The perfect photo opportunity with the big day around the corner.

British American Tobacco (BAT) as one of the world’s leading multinational companies, is very satisfied with the results which this company achieved in its first year of doing business in Croatia.

Almost a year and a half ago the BAT company took over the Croatia's TDR, the leading independent tobacco manufacturer in Central Europe for 505 million Euros. The first year after the takeover, the TDR (Tvornica Duhana Rovinj) company recorded a share growth on all three markets on which the BAT Adria company operates (Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia).

On the other hand, the second business year will be marked by growth in exports to Western Europe countries, especially Germany, which will become the main export market of the factory in Kanfanar, Istria, said from the BAT company.

The company also stated that over the past year successfully integrated the TDR in its global system and that the TDR's share on the Croatian market increased to almost 55 percent.

Since its arrival in Croatia and investment of more than 500 million Euros in the purchase of the TDR, the British American Tobacco has continued to make new investments. This year the company invested 19 million Euros, whilst the investment of additional 30 million Euros in the Kanfanar plant is planned for next year.

The factory in Kanfanar produces approximately 7,5 billion cigarettes, whilst 60 percent of this quantity is exported to 19 foreign markets.

''The British American Tobacco company is the biggest investor in Croatia and over the past few years it has been extremely satisfied with its business results in Croatia. We have started to export to new foreign markets such as Greece, Bulgaria, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Spain and Poland. After closing the BAT factory in Germany, part of local production quantities was moved to Kanfanar. Starting from next year Germany will become our largest export market of our factory in Kanfanar'', said Ram Addanki, the CEO of the BAT Adria company.
