Impressive year for Konavle tourism
Tourism in Konavle has enjoyed a very prosperous year, marked by continued positive trends. According to municipal data, August saw a 4.5 percent increase in arrivals and a 1.3 percent rise in overnight stays compared to the previous year. From January through August, there was an impressive 6.2 percent increase in tourist arrivals, with overnight stays rising by an impressive 9.8 percent.
Traditionally, visitors from the United Kingdom account for the largest number of overnight stays, followed by guests from France, Ireland, Poland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Municipality of Konavle also noted that the number of overnight stays in the first eight months of 2024 exceeded the record figures of 2019 by 2.3 percent, suggesting that the year will conclude with exceptional success.
