The Portuguese national airline, TAP Portugal, a member of the Star Alliance group, plans to operate on regular seasonal flights between Lisbon and Zagreb in the upcoming summer flight schedule, reports Croatian Aviation.
TAP Portugal plans to renew its only route to Croatia this summer, between Lisbon and Zagreb. TAP operated on this line six years ago, but it was abolished due to the restructuring of the carrier itself.
Until the outbreak of the global pandemic, the Croatian national airline, Croatia Airlines, also operated between Lisbon and Zagreb.
TAP returned to Zagreb in the summer flight schedule last year, despite low demand and passenger restrictions due to the global pandemic. There were three flights a week in traffic, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
In this year's summer flight schedule, which takes effect at the very end of March, TAP Portugal announces one more flight per week between the two cities. In addition to the flights on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays that were in traffic last season, TAP also offers an additional flight every Saturday. The first flight has been announced for March 27, while flights on Saturdays are available from May 28.
