The number of people that are leaving Croatia is getting higher and higher. Many of them choose Germany as their destination. The number of Croatians leaving for that ''promised land'' may increase even more after the announcement by the largest employer in Germany, the Frankfurt Airport, in which they are inviting workers from Croatia, Greece and Bulgaria to work there.
The airport employs 81 thousand workers, but that is still not enough, so they are desperately seeking for more people.
-We want to directly address workers in Greece, Bulgaria and Croatia to come and work for us - Michael Muller, Human Resources Director told DPA media agency.
Employees should at least speak basic German and English but, in addition to qualified workers, the airport will also hire those without qualifications. Such will work on jobs that are, for example, baggage-related.
Salary on simpler jobs is between 25 and 30 thousand euros per year gross, and the airport offers cheaper accommodation that does not cost the employees more than 350 euros - Spiegel writes.
In the case of a salary of 25 thousand euros gross, this means that the worker will have around 1600 and 1700 euros net.
People from 88 countries around the world are working at the Frankfurt Airport.

As we reported yesterday, with the aim of preventing accidents caused by inappropriate speed, traffic police officers will monitor the speed of vehicles even more than usual during this week from Monday to Sunday, April 22nd.
However, the most controled day will be tomorrow – there will be continuous 24-hour speed control across Croatia, after TISPOL’s action. Dubrovnik-Neretva County Police also joined in and will control the speed from 6 am tomorrow until 6 am on Thursday. The goal of the action is, apart from the repressive, to act as preventive to all the drivers, which is why this action is announced in advance.

All available devices will be used, and the action will include the maximum possible number of police officers. In order to cover as wide a territory as possible, the monitoring locations will be changed every two to three hours.
Speed is the most common cause of traffic accidents, often those with the most severe consequences, so these actions are much needed.
In the past week in the area of Police Administration of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County there were nine traffic accidents, in one of which one person was killed and two had injured persons, where two persons were heavily injured, two had light injuries while six traffic accidents had material damage.

One of our best athletes, tennis player Marin Cilic and his fiancé, beautiful psychologist Kristina Milkovic, will marry in Dubrovnik in two weeks – after eight years of love – writes Jutarnji.hr.
Details of this fairytale wedding, which will be held on April 28th in our beautiful town, were kept as secret until the last moment, which is typical for this couple that doesn’t like to share their intimacy with the public.
Marin and Kristina will have the church ceremony in Cavtat, at the church of St. Nicholas, where they are finalizing arrangements around their most important day. After the ceremony, a grand celebration for almost 400 guests from Cilic’s birthplace – Medugorje and of course from Kristina’s Konavle, will take place at the famous Dubrovnik fortress Revelin, which has amazing club room, but also fantastic terrace with an enchanting view.
At the very beginning of the celebration and most likely for the first dance, the popular Split musician Gibonni will sing. But that’s only the beginning. It’s expected that the wedding party will last until dawn and should end with one band from Zagreb. The wedding organization and catering are also in the hands of company from our capital.
To ensure that their wedding is as intimate as possible, without the media rush, photographing will be strictly forbidden, according to the wishes of the bride and groom – Jutarnji.hr reports.
However, it is no wonder that this harmonious couple decided to marry in Dubrovnik because our city was crucial for the beginning of their love. Marin and the beautiful brunette met in Dubrovnik in 2008 at the Davis Cup, where Kristina worked as a hostess, and soon afterwards their friendship turned to love.
After that, the couple started living together in the Marin's apartment in Zagreb. Kristina attended almost every Cilic’s match. A successful tennis player often emphasized that his beautiful girl brought him happiness on the field and found comfort in her embrace after losing the Wimbledon finals. But he won in private life, after he got a big ‘’yes’’.
Immediately after marriage, the wedding plans began. Through the relationship, Kristina successfully completed her college duties along with traveling with Marin, and she has a degree in psychology and political science. In the younger days, she was in fashion and in 2005 won the title of the first runner up at Miss Alpe Adria.
Even though she is well known for her beauty, brains and connection with Cilic, Kristina refuses to give interviews and rarely appears at social events. That’s why it’s no wonder that she would like to have an intimate wedding.
