Driver handed 17,200 Kuna fine for breaking multiple laws

The largest fine in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County last week, in the amount of 17,200 Kuna, was handed out by the police to a 36-year-old driver of a car who was stopped in the afternoon of September 16 during a regular traffic control in Žrnovo, on the island of Korčula.

The driver was found to be at the wheel of a vehicle without registration, insurance and a driving license. He was also found not to have a valid ID card.

The driver was banned from traffic, and was taken to the Municipal Court in Dubrovnik - Permanent Service in Korčula, where he was fined 10,200 Kuna and given a six-month ban for driving B-category motor vehicles.
