The luxurious Rixos Premium Dubrovnik, a 5-star hotel and one of only eight Rixos Premium hotels in the world, has opened its doors after eight months of intensive renovation. This is an investment worth more than 150 million Kuna, also the largest investment in Dubrovnik tourism this year, which was successfully realized despite the challenges posed to the tourism sector by the global coronary virus pandemic.
"16 years ago, we recognized the strong potential and exceptional position of the hotel, which today I can proudly say is one of the most luxurious hotels in Croatia. I am convinced that with this valuable investment we are contributing to the increase of the tourist offer of the city of Dubrovnik and the development of the entire destination. The first guests have already started to arrive and I am sure that we will justify their expectations many times over", said the director of the hotel Ayhan Basci, who has been living in Dubrovnik for 13 years and has been in Dubrovnik's Rixos since its opening in 2007.
The result of the investment is a completely renovated hotel with 310 luxury rooms - 190 superior rooms, 10 deluxe rooms, 55 standard rooms, 37 classic rooms, 17 suites and one presidential suite. All public areas and the hotel reception, lobby bar with terrace, main hotel restaurant with terrace, all corridors and elevators, balconies and terraces of hotel rooms, spa & wellness and fitness & gym offer have been enriched. In addition, the Anjana Spa has been completely renovated and is spread over two floors, with a total area of 2,000 m2 and offers various massages and body & mind treatments. The offer also includes an original hammam, unique in the hotel offer of Dubrovnik, a spacious indoor pool with a relax zone and an outdoor pool on the hotel beach.
