Fish lovers gathered in the port of Gruz last night. Since today is a Good Friday, a day when traditional Christians don't eat meat, everybody wanted to buy some fish. Because of the coronavirus, the fish market has been closed for some time, so it seems that the only way to buy fish was directly from the hut.
During the day, the team from Orka- Dubrovnik announced their arrival in Gruz from 9 pm to 9:30 pm and asked customers to comply with the prescribed security measures and to keep a distance.
Fresh fish directly from the hands of tireless fishermen is a guarantee of quality and good service, but because of impatience and carelessness, people were grouped together and failed to comply with the prescribed measures, and firefighters and members of the Civil Protection, as well as the Mayor Mato Frankovic had to intervene – Dubrovacki vjesnik reports.
