Following the successful completion of the public procurement procedure, the City of Dubrovnik and the selected contractor, TRAG d.o.o, concluded a contract for the complete and comprehensive arrangement of the Niko and Medo Pucic Promenade.
The value of the investment is 4,849,839.19 kuna including VAT, and the deadline for the works is 150 calendar days from the start of works, which is planned in the first days of February.
The proposed procedure is intended for the rehabilitation of lungo mare promenade with the aim of safe movement of pedestrians and to enable access and use for persons with mobility difficulties. All existing qualities will be retained and emphasized, and better use will be made.
The works include rehabilitation of the south wall, arrangement of the ground floor, installation of new public lighting, renovation of a hydrant network with underground hydrants, renovation of the bathing area, and removal of old and installation of new, characteristic and typified urban equipment.
A security fence will be erected on all open southern sections of the walkway, approximately 750 meters long. Access to the promenade is provided by a ramp from King Zvonimir's Promenade in the east and a ramp and a few steep stairs from Cardinal Stepinac Street in the west.
