Rich weekend full of music on the Dubrovnik Winter Festival

The New Year's Eve program begins today, and as many as 9 performers will have a concert in the next four days on one of the most beautiful stages in the world, the one on Stradun. There will also be a rich program for children and young people in multiple locations.

The Dubrovnik Tourist Board, as part of the Saturday Morning in the City program this weekend, is giving all citizens and visitors a free tour of the City with the performance of the Lindo Folklore Ensemble. The tour will take place at 10am in front of Tourist Board Office Pile, while the performance of Folklore Ensemble Lindo will be at 11:30 in front of the Church of St. Blaise.

The program for children and young people starts at 10am on the Lazareti plateau where the Dance Studio Dubrovnik prepares an interactive dance program called Dance with us. At the same time, the Community of Technical Culture of the City of Dubrovnik is launching a series of workshops that will take place throughout the weekend as part of the Colorful Winter in the Lapad Bay. Mara, Tomo & Ljubica and Ivan & Doris will also sing for everyone from 1pm.

At the North Pole Station from 2 pm Dubrovnik Tintilinici are organizing a Face painting party, and from 3 pm in the tent at in Mokosica, a Magical Christmas Gift Workshop will be organized by the Eco Center Green Sun and Eko Omblici. In the Fifth Nave in Lazareti, the Kolarin Theater Company brings a play for the children of the Hedgehog House from 6 pm.

The New Year's Eve program, which will feature as many as 9 performers on Stradun over the next four days, kicks off at 9 pm on Saturday with a concert by Neno Belan & Mediterranean Orchestra.

Sunday morning begins at 10 a.m. with a program for the youngest at the North Pole Station called New Year's Story organized by the Lazareti Dance Studio and Le Petit Festival. This Sunday, the vocal group Maestrali will be in charge of the vocal group songs from Brsalje, across Stradun to Gundulic Square from 11 am to 1 pm.

The rich content prepared by the Community of Technical Culture of the City of Dubrovnik at Lapad Bay continues on Sunday from 10am and the atmosphere will be warmed by the bands Burning Phoenix and Quake 67. In the fifth nave of Lazareti on Sunday the Hedgehog's House plays again.

The main program starts at 7 pm in Revelin, where the Christmas concert of City Music Dubrovnik will be held, and from 8 pm at the Franciscan Church, the Christmas Singing Concert of the Folklore Ensemble Lindo Choir is scheduled. At the end of another festival weekend, from 9 pm on Stradun, as part of the New Year's Eve program, Sanja, Marinko and Zec are singing the songs of the group Novi Fosili.

Also, one of the most useful information is that the buses operate free of charge on all city lines (including lines 28 and 35) from 5 pm to the last departure of the evening.

There is also be a X-MAS BUS, which operates on the following route: Main Bus Station – Grawe – Pile – Vojnovic – Lapad Post Office and Lapad Post Office – Vojnovic, Pile – Tommy (Gruz) – Main Bus Station.

For the special holiday experience, hop on the XMAS TRAIN, which passes through Lapad Bay from the beach to the ice skating rink and back every day from 9:30 am to 5 pm. The train departs every 30 minute and it is free of charge for all the passengers.
