Libertas Dubrovnik has completed the process of procuring 11 new city buses for public transport, which should be delivered within the next seven months.
These are low-floor buses from Solaris Bus & Coach S.A., which met the requirements of the tender procedure and signed a delivery contract. This investment is worth 17.7 million Kuna and is fully funded by EU funds.
The new buses will rejuvenate the Libertas fleet, ensuring a higher level of quality of service to citizens, while respecting the highest environmental standards on the market. Each of them has an average capacity of 85 seats, 12 meters in length, has three doors and is equipped to accommodate people with disabilities. The new buses should be in operation by the next tourist season, and the delivery of the first three "bendy buses" is expected within the next month.
