Pink Saturday in Dubrovnik to raise awareness about breast cancer

By  Oct 10, 2019

Breast cancer is the most common malignant disease of women. Every fifth day, the disease is diagnosed for one woman in our county. Regular preventative examinations can help to detect the breast cancer at an early stage. This means more successful treatment, a better quality of life for the sick women and their families and healing.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

In order to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of this disease, the Institute for Public Health of Dubrovnik-Neretva County is organizing a public health action Pink Saturday on Stradun on October 12th from 10 am until noon in front of Sponza Palace.
