According to the eVisitor tourist check-in and check-out system, not including nautical data, there was an increase in tourist traffic in the first nine months of this year. From January 1st to September 30th, there were 1,238,492 tourists staying in Dubrovnik (12 percent more than in the same period last year), and there were 3,835,112 overnight stays (five percent more than in 2018). Since the beginning of the year, most guests in Dubrovnik have been from the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Germany, Spain, Australia, Ireland, Croatia, Italy and Canada.
From the total number of tourists from January 1st to September 30th, 661 658 guests stayed in 50 Dubrovnik hotels, which is an increase of 17 percent in hotel accommodation compared to the same period in 2018, and there were 1 958 356 of overnight stays made, or five percent more than last year.
In the private accommodation from the beginning of the year to the end of September there were 443 115 guests, which is a ten percent increase compared to last year. In the same period, private accommodation recorded 1 464 016 overnight stays, which is seven percent more than in 2018.
During September, Dubrovnik had 185 255 arrivals, or two percent more than in September 2018, and 591 908 overnight stays (an increase of one percent compared to the same period last year). During September, most guests were from the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, France, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Spain, Finland and Japan.
