Dubrovnik-Neretva County Tourist Board is having its first appearance at the World Tourism event for UNESCO Cities and Sites held this year in Rome from September 26th to September 28th.
For the first four years this fair was held in the city of Assisi, for the next three years in Padua, and for the last two years in Siena. Italy is the country with the highest number of UNESCO protected sites, having a total of 54.
Each year, over 120 sites from all over the world under UNESCO protection participate in this fair to promote and raise awareness of responsible cultural tourism.
In addition to UNESCO protected sites, many tour operators participate in the fair to get acquainted with various cultural offerings.
On the first day of the fair there is also a B2B workshop.
In addition to the Dubrovnik-Neretva County Tourist Board, the Split-Dalmatia, Sibenik-Knin and Zadar County Tourist Boards are also presented at this fair at the joint stand.
