The 12th Croatian Festival of jams and marmalades, organized by DESA Dubrovnik, will be held during the weekend of September 27th to 29th, in the very heart of Dubrovnik's Old City, at the Marin Drzic Square in front of the Cathedral. Small and specialized producers from all over the country will visit Dubrovnik and bring hundreds of types of natural jams and marmalades. Exhibitors dressed in traditional costumes, presenting lemon, cherry, strawberry, plum, fig and orange jams make this festival one of Dubrovnik's autumn attractions.
The festival promotes not only small producers, including high quality local produce, but also the richness and diversity of cultural heritage of different parts of our country. As part of the event, the product rating was organized into four categories. Product evaluation and analytics will be conducted by a panel of experts from the Institute for Mediterranean Cultures from the University of Dubrovnik and Professor Josip Zuvela.
The exhibition program will run from Friday to Sunday, daily from 9 am to 5 pm. The festival is held with the support of the City of Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, the City of Dubrovnik Tourist Board and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Dubrovnik.
