Dubrovnik-Neretva County wines to be intensively promoted in the USA

County Perfect Nikola Dobroslavic, accompanied with the head of the Managing Board for Economy and Sea Ivo Klaic and the director of the Dubrovnik partner company met with a representative of the American company "Croatian Premium Wine Imports" (CPWI), with origins in Metkovic - Mirena Bagur and a representative of Komarna 7 wine association, Mihovil Stimac.

Bangur presented her business plans for importing wine and promoting Dubrovnik-Neretva County in the United States, and noted that her company imports and distributes wine from the Komarna vineyards in Boston, Massachusetts.

Bangur also added that interest in our wines in the US market exceeds expectations, so her plan is to import wines from other parts of the county, but also to expand the market to other parts of the US.

Mayor Dobroslavic emphasized that the south of Croatia has the best wines in the country, and noted that in addition to Komarna, Peljesac, Korcula and Konavle must be mentioned when the topic is wine.

Dobroslavic said that the County was ready to help within its means and added that any promotion of our wines is always welcome. Prefect of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County also noted that the County has been organizing DubrovnikFestiwine for six years, promoting wine and winemakers from the south of Croatia.
