The Dubrovnik-Neretva County Tourist Board attends this year's F.RE.E. travel and leisure fair in Munich as a co-exhibitor at the stand of the Croatian Tourist Board. I
In addition to the Tourist Board of Dubrovnik-Neretva County, the co-exhibitors at the stand are the Krapina-Zagorje Tourist Board, the Sibenik-Knin County Tourist Board, Klaster Slavonija, Zagreb Tourist Board, Novalja Tourist Board, Valalta, Solaris, Hadria, Dalmatia Camps , KUH, Camping Village Simuni, Novasol, Plitvice Holiday Resort, Aminess, Jadrolinija, Jadranka Campings, Hotels Njivice, Maistra, Mon Perin, Casa Nube, Zaton Holiday Resort, Ilirija and Campsite Bi Village.
The second working day of the fair is reserved for the press conference, which will be attended by Croatian Minister of Tourism Gari Capelli and Director of Croatian Tourist Board Kristjan Stanicic. After the press conference, Slavonian specialties will be served on the stand.
On the third day of the fair, stand will be visited by football player Ivica Olic, a longtime FC Bayern player, accompanied with several current players of that football club, with which visitors will be able to take photos on a photobooth device that will be placed on the stand for that occasion.
In 2018 Dubrovnik-Neretva County was visited by 147 thousand tourists from Germany, which is 14 percent more than a year earlier, and they made 748,300 overnight stays or 4 percent more than in the previous year. Visitors from Germany are ranked second in the number of overnight stays made in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
