Over 50 foreign students join University of Dubrovnik

In the summer semester of academic year 2018/2019 57 foreign students are studying at the University of Dubrovnik. Traditionally, on this occasion, in cooperation with the Erasmus Student Network Dubrovnik, foreign students Orientation Week is organized, from 11th to 15th of February.

Students come from 17 countries: Italy, Poland, Romania, Latvia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, France, Germany, Lithuania, Netherlands, Macedonia, Sweden, Austria, Slovakia, Kosovo, Azerbaijan and Australia. Most students will study at the Department of Economics and Business Economics and Department of Communication and then at the Maritime Department, the Aquaculture Department, the Department of Art and Restoration and the History of the Adriatic and Mediterranean. Out of the total number of students, 15 are students from the University of Palermo who will take one semester at the University of Dubrovnik under the Bachelor's Double Degree study.

In the winter semester there were 67 foreign students, which means that in this academic year at the University of Dubrovnik there will be a total of 124 students. As compared to the previous academic year, the number of foreign students increased by about 12 percent.
