Even though the sun is out in Dubrovnik today and the biting north wind, or bura, has eased a little the arctic cold weather is set to continue for at least the next four days in Dubrovnik. Temperatures today are at a “balmy” 9 degrees but tonight they will plummet again down to zero.
For the start of the week will we see the north wind return meaning that combined with the low temperatures the wind chill factor will make the real feel temperatures well into the minus degrees.
On Monday temperatures should reach a chilly 4 degrees and the real feel around – 2 degrees. Tuesday will also see temperatures around 5 degrees but again that north wind will bring the real down to zero.
The Croatian Meteorological office has released a statement for Monday saying that “Cold in the morning. minimum temperature between -2 and 2 °C STAY ALERT for expected low temperatures. Some health risks are possible in the vulnerable population, in particular senior citizens, small children and homeless persons.”
