The fourth and final Advent candle was lit last night by the Deputy Mayor of Dubrovnik, Orlanda Tokić, and the advent wreath is complete for this Christmas. Located in front of the Rector’s Palace in the heart of the Old City of Dubrovnik the Advent candles are a traditional part of a Dubrovnik Christmas.

Last night the ceremony was led by the parish of St. Andrew and the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The Advent program entitled "Your light gives me hope" highlights the atmosphere of the Advent and the preparation for Christmas.
