World Tourism Day to be marked in Dubrovnik with a unique concert

The traditional concert on the occasion of the World Tourism Day, organized by the Dubrovnik Tourist Board and the DubrovnikSymphony Orchestra, will be held on Thursday, September 27th in front of the church of St. Blaise starting at 7pm.

Along with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra conducted by Marc Tardue, the Gypsy jazz band Gadjo Manouche will perform, famous for the unique interpretations of the great Django Reinhardt and other gypsy jazz / swing performers. Celebrated jazz singer Maja Grgic , winner Porin and many others professional awards will join them on the stage.

The combination of gypsy jazz ensemble and symphony orchestra is a rare occurrence in the world, and arrangements for this concert were made by the trumpeter of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, Damir Butigan.
