Mario Hezonja, super-talented basketball player from Dubrovnik, remains in the NBA league, but will not stay in Orlando. After three years of playing for Magic, this 23-year old moved to New York and became a member of the Knicks – Dubrovacki.hr reports.

Hezonja confirmed the transfer with a Tweet, saying: -Start spreading the news...I want to be a part of it, New York,New York! Very excited to be joining the Knicks and play for coach Fizdale! A dream come true!!

According to ESPN, Hezonja signed a one-year contract worth 6,5 million dollars! A dream come true - indeed.

Hezonja moved from Barcelona to Orlando in the summer of 2015. His Magic debut was back in October 28th in 2015 against the Washington Wizards. In the three seasons he played 219 games for Magic. He scored a total of 1517 points (an average of 6.9 points per game). Plus, he scored exactly 200 three-pointers. Interestingly, his first shot at the NBA was a three-pointer . In the past three seasons he had 603 rebounds (average 2.8) and 277 assists (average 1.3). In seven games, he scored 20 and more points, and twice scored double double.

That made him more than attractive to the Knicks – Hezonja will stay in NBA and his new home will be Madison Square Garden. Good luck!!
