Due to the completion of works on the reconstruction of the Atrium of the Rector's Palace in Dubrovnik , the Cultural and Historical Museum will be closed for visitors by June 7th. On Thursday, June 7th, the Cultural and Historical Museum will work regularly, from 9am to 6pm.
This is the continuation of the works on the reconstruction of the Rector's Palace, that started back in 2016 in January (first phase). After being open for the season, the second phase of the works started in December and lasted until June 7th 2017. The investment is worth around 11 million Kuna.
It's interesting to say that in March this year, the Institute for the Restoration of Dubrovnik is the winner of the international award ‘Plautilla’, bronze plaque for this project, the project of ‘Reconstruction of the Rector’s Palace atrium', given by International Historic Cities Congress.
