In the Solitudo quarter, construction works on the park have started. Park will have children's and sports playground and an outdoor fitness area.

By combining content intended for all age groups, the idea is to create a quartic recreation park and transforming the passive urban space into a green area for sport and recreation.

As part of the works a brand new basketball court will be built, as an outdoor exercise area, while the existing playground will be reconstructed and enriched with new equipment, as trampolines and slides. Above the children's playgrounds with a total area of 240.5 square meters, stands and benches will be set up. The outdoor exercise area located above the children's playground is 126.60 square meters, while the basketball court is located in the western part of the area and extends to 100 m2.

It is also planned to arrange pedestrian part of the park and the whole area will be enriched with autochthonous trees and Mediterranean herbs. Horticulturally landscaped areas are arond 723 m2, and pedestrian trails are 208.90 m2. To approach the zone, there will be five entrances. The access road is from Rijecka ulica.

The total investment is 1.1 million Kuna, including VAT and the purchase all the necessary sports and children’s equipment.
