A congress entitled "Shared Future of Cultural Heritage: Synergy between Heritage, Tourism and Digital Culture" is currently being held in Dubrovnik. The international conference, organised by the Croatian Association of Historical Cities (HUPG) and the City of Dubrovnik, will bring together leading experts and lecturers.
"Our motivations are the same as we have a common mission: to improve the quality of life in historical places, cities and tourist centres for the benefit of the population and the visitor. We all strive to provide the preconditions needed for a high-quality coexistence of historical heritage and modern trends, despite the many challenges," said the Dubrovnik Mayor, Mato Franković, and the President of HUPG Jakov Vetma.
The congress, which is being held in the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel, will aim to offer answers to many of the issues that challenge local authorities and other relevant factors of modern society.
