he traditional Christmas Party of the Dubrovnik Foreign Circle was held last night in the luxurious surroundings of the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera in Zupa. Members of this long-standing Dubrovnik club meet every Christmas and this year was no different with the foreign community getting the opportunity to catch up before the festive season. With international Christmas sweet treats made by the members, festive songs and free-flowing wine the party was a lively affair with the highlight being a raffle with many valuable prizes.
2017 has been a busy and successful year for the Dubrovnik Foreign Circle with the second-hand sale, held in the middle of October, collecting over 62,000 Kunas for humanitarian causes. In fact, over the last eight years, the Dubrovnik Foreign Circle has raised and donated more than 335 thousand Kuna to various local charities in Dubrovnik and the surrounding area.
For those who might still not be familiar with the club, the members of Dubrovnik Foreign Circle, are mostly foreign residents who make Dubrovnik their permanent home year round, and who have been part of the life of the city for many years.
