This year's millionth passenger at the Dubrovnik Airport is Canadian Cameron Neil Smith, who  was welcomed  by the representatives of the Airport, the City of Dubrovnik, the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, the Tourist Board and the Municipality of Konavle, who congratulated him and gave him presents this morning in Cilipi.

-Before, this event was a celebration of a successful season. Now we are not even at the peak of the season and we are welcoming a millionth passenger at the Dubrovnik Airport, two weeks earlier than in 2016, when it was a record. I am very pleased that our millionth passenger is Mr. Cameron from Canada, who arrived on the flight of our strategic partner – Turkish Airlines – said Roko Tolic, Director of Dubrovnik Airport.  

Canadian tourist was really surprised – this was his first visit to Dubrovnik and he got gifts.
- This is really cool, everybody are so nice and gifts are excellent – said Cameron who had an amazing welcome to the city of Dubrovnik.
This year, millionth visitor arrived to the Dubrovnik Airport exactly 15 days earlier than last year.
