Dubrovnik marked International Kissing Day yesterday with a romantic treat on Porporela. The Dubrovnik Tourist Board organised a special treat for lovers in Dubrovnik in one of the most spots in the city.

"Today we have come from Great Britain, and we have just walked through this beautiful city, and we came out of curiosity here because we saw something happening. This is fantastic, we're delighted, I kissed my girlfriend and it was a magic spell," commented David a tourist from England.

As the sun set over the ancient walls of the city Dubrovnik marked International Kissing Day with a special kissing bench overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Couples sat on the bench and had the opportunity to send their photos to the world with the hashtag #kissfromdubrovnik

This is the first time we have experienced something like this and we are glad that this has happened in a city that is also romantic and unique, "said Elen a tourist from Austria.

As well as the kissing bench couples could also pose in front of the Magic Mirror and take home a romantic photo as a memento of their time in Dubrovnik on International Kissing Day.
