Beans, vocal groups, climbing the Srd – these were some of the ways to spend Labour Day in Dubrovnik. Since the local elections are just around the corner, these events were mostly organized by different political parties, but we’d like to focus on the social, and prettier, side of it.

People enjoyed themselves and had a great time hanging out, eating beans and listening traditional Dalmatian songs on this public holiday. Beans were eaten in Uvala Lapad and in Park of Luj Soletic in Gruz and also in Cavtat, but one part of locals decided to have an active vacation so they climbed to the mountain of Srd.  

Those that didn’t go to organized social gatherings decided to enjoy this sunny day the best way possible – with barbecue, walk, or just relaxing and enjoying their time off work. Is there any better way to start your week?
