Easter Sunday was a stormy one in Dubrovnik with torrential rain, gale force winds and even hail stones. After two weeks of warm sunshine and temperatures in the mid twenties the heavens opened over Dubrovnik today.

This photo, sent to us by a reader, shows the full force of the storm today as a double lightning strike explodes into the hillside over the Old City.

The forecast for the next few days is for more rain and storms with temperatures expected around 17 degrees. More stable weather and sunshine is forecast Thursday.
