Dubrovnik Airport opened the first phase of the third terminal, Terminal C, yesterday. This first phase will see the check-in and security stations moved from Terminal A to the new terminal, meaning that Terminal A is now closed for passengers.

It is expected that Terminal C will be fully open and operational by the end of April. “We hope to make the full move to Terminal C by the start of the summer season. We are delighted with the opening of the new terminal, which will boost our passenger services" commented the director of the Dubrovnik Airport, Roko Tolic, in a statement.

This new terminal is connected to terminal B and when fully operational the two terminals will be completely joined, leaving terminal A as a baggage sorting area. With an impressive sixteen gates, two for internal flights, the airport will soon be able to handle more passengers.
