The Kalamota Island Resort finished last year, according to an unaudited annual report, with a turnover of 3.8 million Euros and a profit of 387,323 Euros. The Kalamota Island Resort, on the island of Kalamota near Dubrovnik, is jointly owned by Karisma Resorts International, Agrokor and the German tour operator TUI.
The four-star resort has a total of 144 rooms and guests have access to three restaurants, four bars, a swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre.
"Operations during the 12 months of 2016 confirmed the stable and steady growth of guests. In particular, the resort worked for 182 days with an occupancy rate of 90 percent, or 46,850 overnight stays, most of the guests were from Great Britain and Belgium,” read a statement from the company.
During 2014 and 2015 more than 29 million Kuna was invested into the resort, which was formerly known as Hotel Kolocep. The resort aims at guests mainly from the UK market and is primarily marketed at guests over the age of 18.
