Demolition works at the long-abandoned Kupari resort complex appear to be nearing completion, as a reader of The Dubrovnik Times has shared a new video from the site.
The footage shows the remains of the once-famous holiday complex, which has stood derelict since the Homeland War, gradually being cleared away. Over the past months, heavy machinery has been at work dismantling the ruined hotels that for decades stood as a reminder of Kupari’s glamorous past.
Local residents and visitors have watched with interest as the long-awaited clean-up of the area progresses, paving the way for future redevelopment plans.
