The atmosphere in Dubrovnik was electric this afternoon as a flotilla of boats carried jubilant fans to the finals of the Wild League, the city’s legendary amateur water polo tournament. The showdown saw FUN H20 from Mlini face off against Dubrovnik’s Elite, with the Stradun echoing to the roar of supporters. The passion and volume from the Mlini fans rivalled that of a football final.

In the end, FUN H20 proved too strong for their rivals, securing victory with a decisive 11–7 scoreline.

The celebrations reached their peak on the steps of St. Blaise’s Church, where the trophies were presented to thunderous applause. Locals, tourists, and dignitaries—including a representative from the Mayor’s Office—joined in the festivities as Mlini marked their second consecutive championship title.

It was a spectacle of sport, tradition, and community spirit—proving once again why the Wild League holds such a special place in Dubrovnik’s summer calendar.
