If you thought it was already extremely hot in Dubrovnik, get ready for even warmer weather as a heat wave is predicted to hit from the middle of this week. Temperatures today in the south of Croatia were in the low thirties but the mercury is about to rise a few degrees at least as the week progresses.
The Croatian Hydro Meteorological Institute has issued a heatwave warning until Friday this week.

For the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, a high danger for tomorrow, and a very high danger of a heatwave from Wednesday to Friday, with temperatures forecast to be up to and maybe over 35 degrees in the shade.
The Adriatic Sea is around 25.5 degrees at the moment, so not offering much in the way of cooling from the July sunshine.
