There have been reports today that a whale has been spotted in the wider Dubrovnik region, more precisely near the island of Mljet. The Mljet National Park published on their social media that “On Monday, June 10, 2024, we received several reports that a whale was sighted in the Mljet Channel between Polače and Trstenik. Currently, we do not have further information or knowledge about the specific type of whale. However, we kindly request that you do not approach the whale with vessels and that you report its location and the time of sighting to us.”
