The very positive tourist season in the south of Croatia shows no signs of slowing down. Hotels, villas, and private accommodations are all reporting excellent bookings. Despite unusually unstable weather for this time of year, the historic Old City of Dubrovnik has seen a constant flow of guests.
In the middle of the week leading up to the weekend, Dubrovnik welcomed over 16,500 guests, marking an eight percent increase compared to the same period last year.
Data from the eVisitor system, which tracks tourist registrations and departures, reveal that the majority of visitors hail from the United Kingdom, the USA, Germany, France, Ireland, Australia, Poland, Canada, and Finland. Dubrovnik is traditionally a magnet for guests from the UK and the US, and this year they are once again the most numerous.
