Just a few days remain until the eighth edition of Du Motion - Runners' Days Dubrovnik, which once again gathers running enthusiasts from across the globe to the stunning city of Dubrovnik.
"We're witnessing record numbers once again; all races are sold out, and we're expecting 2700 participants from a staggering 50 countries," emphasized Du Motion Director, Alen Bošković.
The excitement kicks off on Saturday, April 27th, with the thrilling yet challenging Walls Race, transforming the globally renowned symbol of the city into an exclusive running track. On the same day, the laughter and cheers of joyful children from Dubrovnik kindergartens and elementary schools will resonate along Stradun during the Orlando Children's Race.
Sunday, April 28th, is reserved for the internationally acclaimed Dubrovnik 21K race, which sold out months in advance and will feature a slightly modified route this year. Additionally, the Dubrovnik 5K citizen's race, with one thousand participants running in support of ten-year-old Marko Akrap, will add a touch of philanthropy to the event.
The upcoming weekend promises a city in motion, with hundreds of volunteers from elementary and high schools, various municipal services, the Red Cross, sports and car clubs, and the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service ensuring smooth operations.
"We invite our fellow citizens to join us in cheering along the race route or on Stradun. Come and enjoy the incredible atmosphere, greet the runners because your support means a lot to them. Together, we can create an unforgettable experience for all Du Motion participants," concluded Bošković.
