The Tourist Board of the Municipality of Mljet began implementing a project to update and create a network of cycling routes on the island at the end of last year.

At a workshop held in mid-November 2023, the lecturers and designers of this project, Ms. Lidija Mišćin and Mr. Boris Mišćin, proposed new cycling routes that include GPX files and technical data for the routes, and at the beginning of this year, the routes were finally consolidated on newly created cycling maps.

The maps are printed in three language variants (Croatian, English, and Italian). Mljet will now finally have consolidated cycling routes throughout the island, thus contributing to the development of cycling tourism and further enriching the tourist offer throughout the year.

Cycling maps can be obtained free of charge at the Tourist Board office in Sobra.
