The heart of the Old City of Dubrovnik was lively yesterday on Easter Sunday. Sunshine warmed the whole of the south of Croatia and as this weekend marks the start of many international flights the stone streets of the city were very busy and it felt more like June than the end of March.
The festive and joyful atmosphere was enhanced by the program organized by the Dubrovnik Tourist Board. Alongside a performance by the vocal group, Klapa Ragusa, in front of the Church of St. Blaise, girls in traditional folk costumes handed out painted Easter eggs. Tourists particularly enjoyed this small gesture with symbols of the tradition of the Dubrovnik region.
