The academic year 2023/2024 is once again record-breaking in terms of the number of exchange students - a total of 162, who have chosen to spend part of their studies at the University of Dubrovnik. In the winter semester, the University hosted 78 foreign students, 10 of whom decided to stay in Dubrovnik for the entire academic year.
During the summer semester, the University will host a total of 94 students through exchange programs, with the Erasmus+ program being particularly prominent. Foreign students come from 21 countries around the world (Austria, Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, North Macedonia, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Montenegro, Costa Rica, United States, Portugal, and Romania). The largest number of students in the summer semester comes from the United States, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Italy.
These numbers are the result of continuous investment in internationalization, which is recognized as one of the most significant strategic goals of the University of Dubrovnik. All foreign students went through the Orientation Day program held on February 16, organized by the International Relations Office.
