The Dubrovnik Tourist Board has summarized data on the number of tourist arrivals and overnight stays during the New Year holidays. According to this information, on New Year's Eve, December 31st, there were 1,335 tourist arrivals and 5,728 overnight stays, mainly by domestic guests and visitors from neighbouring countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Serbia, Germany, Montenegro, North Macedonia, as well as Austria, the USA, Portugal, and others.
December concluded with a total of 18,554 tourist arrivals and 39,226 overnight stays in Dubrovnik, with the majority of guests being domestic, followed by guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, the USA, Slovenia, Germany, Serbia, Singapore, France, Montenegro, and others.
In the year 2023, up until December 27th, there was a 20 percent increase in arrivals compared to the previous year – 1,243,873 arrivals were recorded, resulting in 3,884,927 overnight stays. Throughout the past year, the most numerous visitors continued to be tourists from the United Kingdom, followed by Americans, French, Germans, Croatians, Irish, Australians, Spaniards, Finns, Canadians, and others.
