The first new born in the new year 2024 at Dubrovnik General Hospital is Luka Dreno! Baby boy Luka was born at 08:12 AM, weighs 3650 grams, and is 50 cm long. The first new born in Dubrovnik, Luka, is the third child in the Dreno family and has an older brother and sister.

Sincere congratulations to the parents Matea and Kristijan Dreno were extended by the director of Dubrovnik Hospital, Assoc. Prof. Prim. Dr. Sc. Marijo Bekić, and the on-duty team, including gynaecologist Tomislav Perkov, MD, and midwife Arijana Kmetović.

Mayor Mato Franković and the county prefect of Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Nikola Dobroslavić, presented the first mother and her son with appropriate gifts.
