On the island of Korčula, this year, the Knightly Games Festival is being organized once again.

The Knightly Games Festival is an event in which knightly associations from the island of Korčula participate, performing unique sword dances dating back to the early seventeenth century. Moreška and Kumpanije from the island of Korčula are protected as intangible cultural heritage of the Republic of Croatia.

"This year, the concept has been slightly changed, with an emphasis on knightly associations performing in various locations across the island. This will allow the island's residents and their guests to become acquainted with the rich cultural heritage of Korčula and knightly games," emphasize the organizers.

This year's program includes guest appearances and performances on the following dates:

02.09. - Žrnovo - Knightly Association Kumpanjija-Smokvica

09.09. - Korčula - KA Kumpanjija Pupnat

12.09. - Vela Luka - Moreška – Korčula

15.09. - Korčula - FD Kumpanija Vela Luka
