A new study has revealed the world’s best honeymoon destinations for 2023, and Dubrovnik ranks 6th.
The study by Bounce analysed destinations around the world, based on factors including weather, romantic hotels, restaurants, activities for couples, average hotel prices and more, all to reveal the best honeymoon destinations for newlyweds in 2023!
The world’s top 10 honeymoon destinations:
The number one honeymoon destination for newlyweds this year is Santorini, a Greek island located in the southern Aegean Sea. Santorini is awash with 389 romantic hotels and 201 romantic restaurants. This destination offers one of the most uniquely romantic environments in the world, with whitewashed villas and spectacular sunsets overlooking the sea each night.
Negril, nestled along Jamaica’s west coast, ranks in second place. Negril is ideal for newlyweds looking to lounge on the beach with the allure of white sandy beaches, pristine waterfalls, and dramatic cliffs within walking distance. This destination also offers warm temperatures (26.8°C) and plenty of romantic hotels and activities to choose from.
Tulum takes third, this romantic oasis in Mexico is one of the more unknown honeymoon destinations. Tulum offers so much tropical fun to discover, with 90 couples activities, 85 romantic restaurants and 103 romantic hotels, per 10,000 people.
