What has happened to the weather in Dubrovnik this May? Grey skies, storms, rain and even a waterspout, the weather has been extremely un-Spring like, to say the least. And after a week of unsettled weather in the south of Croatia what can we expect from next week? Will the clouds break and the sun shine?
The short answer is no.
The weather in the wider all next week looks like being unsettled. The beginning of the week, Monday and Tuesday, will see heavy rain and thunderstorms, temperatures should be around the 21-degree mark. But by midweek, on Wednesday, the clouds should break a little and temperatures will rise to the low-twenties. Thursday and Friday should be the best days to get out and about as sunshine and light showers are predicted. Whilst the following weekend could well be another wet one.

Dubrovnik hasn’t had such a wet and unsettled start to May for a few years. Dubrovnik generally experiences mild and pleasant weather in May. It's considered part of the spring season, and temperatures typically range from around 15 to 25 degrees Celsius (59 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit). But not this year. Could this mean that we are in for an ultra-warm summer?
