The second edition of the Pelješac Bridge Race will be held on May 29th!
This is a new opportunity for all those who wish to experience a true racing spectacle on one of the longest and most impressive bridges in Europe, but more importantly, a symbol of Croatian connectivity that has been longed for literally for centuries.
"The inaugural edition of this race was held as part of the opening ceremony of the Pelješac Bridge last year, and we demonstrated our ability to organize such a demanding event. We are extremely happy that our partners from Croatia Roads have embraced the idea of making this race a tradition and that we will mark this important moment of connecting the southernmost part with the rest of the country, just before the celebration of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia," said Alen Bošković, the director of Du Motion.
The 5.5-kilometre race will start at 8:30 PM. The registration fee is 27 euro, and the runner's package includes an official t-shirt, a finisher's medal, a race bib, timing, and refreshments.
All those eager to participate can register through the official Du Motion website, with the important note that the minimum age requirement is 10 years. Participation of children aged 10 to 15 is only possible with the presence of a parent, and for participants aged 15 to 18, parental consent is required. The number of participants is limited to 250 runners.
