At the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb, awards were given to the best chefs and restaurants according to the Gault&Millau guide, and the title of chef of the year went to chef Marijo Curić from the Dubrovnik restaurant 360.
The trophy for the Great Chef of Tomorrow was won by Saša Began from Foša in Zadar and Aleksandar Grubić from the restaurant Badi in Lovrečica near Umag. Awards were also given for the Chef of Traditional Cuisine, which went to Tomica Đukić and Damir Josić from the restaurant of the Josić Winery in Zmajevac, and the Trophy for the Chef of Modern Traditional Cuisine went to Nenad Kukurin from the restaurant Kukuriku in Kastavo.
The Young Talent of the Year awards were won by Katarina Vrenc from Zagreb's Sopal and Mate Sučić, owner and chef of Konoba Campanelo in Mirlović Zagora.
The best restaurants were 360 from Dubrovnik, Cap Aureo and Monte from Rovinj and Zagreb's NAV, Noel and Zinfandel's, restaurant Nebo in Rijeka and Pelegrini from Šibenik.
