The City of Dubrovnik, through the Administrative Department for Communal Activities, Transport and Local Self-Government and the contracted contractor, continues to implement the maintenance program for sidewalks and public areas in the area of the historic core and the contact zone. Thus, the works on the restoration of damage to the stairs in Uz Posat Street were also completed.

The works included careful dismantling of the stone pavement, excavation and removal of the base, procurement, delivery and installation of the supporting layer, laying of stone slabs on the prepared base, and proper cutting of damaged edges and making of stone tiles. In addition to the stairs, the damaged stone covers on the fence were also repaired.
