The head of the Municipality of Konavle, Božo Lasić, met on Monday with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, in Zagreb, and on this occasion the Prime Minister presented the main guidelines of the new aid measures that will be applied from April 1.
The president of the Croatian Union of Counties Danijel Marušić and the president of the Association of Cities Željko Turk were also present at the meeting.
Prime Minister Plenković pointed out that the Government understands all the challenges faced by citizens of the Republic of Croatia as well as local and regional self-government, and the new package of measures continues earlier positive practices such as the regulation of electricity prices for municipalities and cities.
Mayor Lasić and his colleagues expressed satisfaction with the proposed measures, which the public will learn more about on Thursday, and thanked Prime Minister Plenković and the entire Government for adopting their proposals, which reflect the real problems and needs of local and regional self-government units.
