At the start of the ITB Berlin tourism fair Qatar Airways announced the new routes that they would connect this year and there were reports that Dubrovnik could be connected to Doha.

Unfortunately, of the seven new destinations that Qatar Airways have chosen the far south of Croatia was not on the list.

In Europe Qatar Airways will fly to Lyon, Toulouse, Trabzon, Nice and Birmingham. Qatar Airways will however continue to fly to the Croatian capital, Zagreb this year, but not as hoped to Dubrovnik.
